Diabetes awareness fair set for Nov. 5

A free diabetes awareness fair is offered from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 5 at Bethel Church, 600 Shockley Rd., Richland.

The event is sponsored by the Benton-Franklin Health District and the Tri-Cities Diabetes Coalition.

Free health screenings are offered, including A1C screenings, oral health, blood pressure, neuropathy, and foot checks. A pharmacist is also available.

Presentations include speakers Lee Ostler at 9 a.m., Nancy Krupin at 9:45 a.m., Jeni Asmus at 10:30 a.m., and Kathryn Brault at 11:15 a.m.
