Fire district schedules open house Nov. 5

Franklin County Fire District 3 will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 5 at its main station at 7809 Road 36.

The public is invited to tour the fire station, see the emergency vehicle and ask questions. Information will be available about hands-on only CPR, smoke alarms, escape routes and family evacuation planning.

Addressing posts and numbers will be available for residents who live in rural Franklin County.

Light refreshments, coffee and cookies will be available.
