Local doctors partner to host academic program Nov. 5

Middle school, high school and community college students interested in learning more about pursuing health care careers are invited to attend a free program on Nov. 5.

Columbia Basin Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons is sponsoring the Academic Advantage program from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at 512 N. Young St., Kennewick.

The program is aimed at Doctors will be available to detail everything students need to know about the life of a medical or dental professional, as well as a college admissions representative from Washington State University Tri-Cities.

Students are encouraged to bring their parents, friends and family members. The event is free and will include a drawing for an iPad.
