Kennewick man pledges 10 months of volunteer service
Kennewick resident Andrepaul Bungat, 19, is among 75 men and women taking part in the Atlantic Region’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Corps Class 23 by volunteering for 10 months of national service.
FEMA Corps is partnering with the National Civilian Community Corps, a program that sends volunteers nationwide.
Bungat and his team of volunteers will focus on disaster response and recovery efforts.
Bungat will graduate from FEMA Corps in May 2017 with an education award valued at $5,775. He hopes to attend college after his service term and study psychology.
