Library book sales planned in Richland, Kennewick on Oct. 27-29

The Friends of the Public Library are holding their semi-annual book sale at the Richland Public Library on Oct. 27-29.

And Friends of the Mid-Columbia Libraries plan their giant book sale the same days.

In Richland, the preview night is from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 27 for members only, but those wishing to be members can sign up at the door.

The book sale is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 28 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 29. Oct. 29 is $5 bag day, where a bag of books is $5.

In Kennewick, the friends event for members only is from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at the main branch on Union Street.

The sale opens to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 29 and from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 30.
