National Weather Service plans Pendleton open house

The National Weather Service in Pendleton, which is the office that serves the Tri-City area, plans an open house 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13.

Participants can tour the office, learning about the data it collects, the services it provides and how data is analyzed to issue advisories and warnings.

The office is at 2001 N.W. 56th Drive.
