The Richland School District invites community members to tour the new Marcus Whitman Elementary School from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28.

The new school at 1704 Gray St. can hold about 630 students and cost about $16.3 million.

“We encourage everyone to come and see first-hand how their tax dollars have been invested,” said Superintendent Rick Schulte.
