The lava flows that shaped much of Eastern Washington will be discussed in Kennewick by Nick Zenter of the Central Washington University Department of Geological Sciences.

His Kennewick talk is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 27 during a meeting of the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society at the corner of Highway 395 and Yelm Street.
