Dayton Man killed after motorcycle hits rock wall on I-82
A Dayton man died after his motorcycle hit a rock wall three miles northwest of Selah on Monday.
James R. Griffith, 44, was riding west at about 10:20 a.m. on Interstate 82 on a Triumph Sprint motorcycle when he left the inside shoulder of the road, struck a rock wall and was thrown from his bike, the Washington State Patrol reported.
Griffith, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved.
