A Roasters Coffee stand in Tri-Cities closes temporarily after worker gets COVID
A Roasters Coffee in West Richland has temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
The employee has not been at the Roasters at Keene and Kennedy roads since working an early morning and afternoon shift July 11.
When the worker developed symptoms, the employee self-quarantined at home while waiting for test results, said a company spokesman.
The West Richland drive-up coffee outlet will be closed until Saturday, July 18, for additional deep cleaning and sanitizing.
Employees in direct contact with the worker with COVID-19 have been notified, and Roasters also announced the illness on Thursday as an “extreme precaution” for any customer who may have come in contact with the worker.
Last week three Dutch Bros. Coffee stands in the Tri-Cities temporarily closed after eight employees tested positive for COVID-19.
