Where to go in Prosser if you have respiratory symptoms that might be coronavirus

Prosser Memorial Health has established a respiratory and covid-19 care clinic as a first stop for patients with symptoms that could indicate they have been infected with the new coronavirus.

The specialized clinic is intended to keep other clinics as free as possible from contamination with the virus.

It will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at 713 Memorial St. in Prosser.

Patients with a fever of 100 degrees or higher or a cough or cold symptoms should call the respirator and covid-19 clinic at 509-788-6030 for an appointment.

Prosser Memorial Health is asking patients to remain in their car for evaluation when they arrive at the clinic.

Patients with respiratory distress who need hospital emergency department care, rather than clinic care, should call ahead at 509-786-6662 so a room may be prepared.

The Prosser Memorial Health Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
