Registration opens for 36th annual Trios Health marathon, relay

Registration is under way for the 36th Annual Trios Health Tri-Cities Marathon & Relay on Oct. 30.

Under new management this year, the race will feature a Rivers & Wine theme including a wine stopper finisher’s medal and shirt. The race weekend will have activities with prizes from area wineries.

The event offers a full marathon and three relay formats for two to four people on a flat, fast course that starts at the Shilo Inn in Richland, winds along the Columbia River, over bridges and through the three cities. The event is a Boston Marathon qualifier.

Registration is open at www.3rrr.org/events. Fees are $80 for individual racers, with a $3 discount for 3 Rivers Road Runners members.

Relay teams are $30 per person. An early bir discount and extra gift will be applied to registrations before July 1.
