The state’s online health insurance marketplace launches its next open enrollment period for qualified health plans on Nov. 1.
The open enrollment period runs through Jan. 31.
“New and returning customers will able to see if they qualify for free or low-cost health coverage and compare 2016 coverage offerings that include 148 health insurance plans from 13 different insurance companies through www.wahealthplanfinder.org,” a news release said.
Tax credits may be available.

The marketplace, called Washington Healthplanfinder, is operated by the Washington Health Benefit Exchange.
“New and returning customers should expect a smoother experience given recent system improvements to simplify applications and enable customers to directly pay their insurance carrier. Customers can continue to browse anonymously, compare plans, and calculate their out-of-pocket expenses,” the release said.
