Richland meeting Oct. 7 to cover new state Alzheimer’s plan
The Washington State Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will provide information in Richland about a Washington draft plan to address Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
The plan will guide the available help and resources for more than 100,000 individuals with dementia in the state. It address needs of caregivers, reducing stigma, raising awareness, increasing availability and affordability of long-term services, and increasing the quality and availability of paid aides.
A town hall meeting on the draft plan will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Oct. 7 in the Doris Roberts Gallery of the Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive.
