Cancer center to provide free cancer screenings Sept. 14-16

The Tri-Cities Cancer Center will offer free prostate cancer screenings for men ages 50-69 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 14-16 at the center, 7350 W. Deschutes Ave. in Kennewick.

About 1 in 7 men is diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. Men are encouraged to consult their physician and be aware of screening guidelines to determine if a prostate cancer screening is appropriate. The screening will include a prostate-specific antigen, or PSA, blood test and a digital rectal examination.
