United Healthcare donates $5,000 to support literacy

Tri-Cities Community Health launched Reach Out and Read, a literacy program at its community health centers, supported by a $5,000 contribution from United Healthcare.

The program is supported by Tri-Cities Industry Kiwanis Club, Columbia Center Rotary and Dr. Aaron Richardson.

Reach Out and Read is a national effort to incorporate books into pediatric care in order to encourage families to read together.
