Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership names award winners

Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership handed out several awards at its annual Downtowner Banquet at the Clover Island Inn in Kennewick.

Russel Del Gesso, owner of Ed and Moe’s Pawn Shop, received the Downtowner of the Year award for promoting improvements in the downtown area. Volunteer of the Year went to You and I Framing owner Brooke Yount, and Business of the Year was awarded to Victoria Kile, owner of Victoria’s Academy of Cosmetology.

The theme was “Light up Downtown,” featuring a silent auction to raise money to help light up the downtown area through tree lights, improvements and beautification.
