Career expo, job fair in Kennewick

WorkSource Columbia Basin will offer a three-day employment expo followed by a job fair this week.

The career expo is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily March 15-17. Workshops will cover interviewing and resumé writing, licensing issues, how to start a business and veterans’ benefits.

The job fair, with more than two dozen employers as well as community resources, will follow on March 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All events are free and open to the public at WorkSource’s offices at 815 N. Kellogg St. in Kennewick. Organizers ask participants to arrange care for any children ahead of attending.
