Prosser’s Wine o’Clock eatery hiring
Wine o’Clock hiring
A popular eatery at Prosser’s Vintner’s Village is looking to add to its staff, both to help share cooking duties but also day-to-day management.
Wine o’Clock, owned and operated by Bunnell Family Cellar, is looking for someone who can supervise the bistro’s kitchen and help plan menus, which change weekly.
The bistro’s menu features entrees such as seared wild caught blue marlin, aged Black Angus skirt steak with chimichurri sauce, as well as specialty pizzas such as the Chef’s “French Onion” or a pesto pizza with eggplant, portabella mushroom and pine nuts.
“We’re not big enough for everyone not to cook, but the menu changes every single week so there’s a lot of development,” said Susan Bunnell.
The bistro has been absent a permanent head chef for about two years. Another staff member took on those duties when the chef left, but with the demands of the job and that staff member’s desire to go back on the line, Bunnell said it was time to look for some help.
