New Jimmy John’s opens in Richland
Workers at the federal building, Kadlec Regional Medical Center and others in central Richland have a new sandwich option when it comes to their lunch break.
Officials with the city of Richland announced the opening of Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches in the new commercial development at 534 Swift Blvd. across from city hall.
Another fast food franchise, Taco Time, is expected to open in the same development as is full-service restaurant and lounge Dupus Boomer’s.
The Jimmy John’s chain is known for its sandwich offerings ranging from clubs, subs and slims. It also offers catering. Hours are Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The sandwich shop first arrived in the Tri-Cities in 2014 with an outlet on Clearwater Avenue near HAPO Community Credit Union. It also has a location on Kennewick Avenue near Highway 395.
