Tieton Cider Works plans move to Yakima location

YAKIMA -- Tieton Cider Works, which has been looking to expand, has filed a liquor license application for a new location at 619 W. J St., next to Elks Memorial Park.

The new warehouse location will house a production facility and a tasting room. The company purchased the 40,000-square-foot building and the 2-acre property in March for nearly $1.6 million, according to the Yakima County Assessor's Office.

Tieton Cider Works, which currently resides in Tieton, previously said it planned to move to Yakima by late summer.
