Dutchmen Manufacturing Inc. also announced last week it is closing its plant in Clackamas, Ore., and moving that work to Pendleton. It employs 163 workers.
The Times-News reports Indiana-based Dutchmen Manufacturing announced last week the Burley RV plant will close on Nov. 15.
Dutchmen Vice President David Thomas says the employees who work in production have been offered the opportunity to relocate to Pendleton.
In a news release, the company said it is moving the work to the Pendleton plant because it offers newly retooled production lines, room to expand and the advantage of on-site vendor relationships.
