Call 811 before digging, utility officials warn

Community members are reminded to call 811 before beginning outdoor digging projects.

A utility line is damaged by digging once every three minutes nationwide, according to a press release from Cascade Natural Gas.

By calling 811, the call center can collect information about your project and send utility company representatives to mark the locations of underground lines in the immediate vicinity.
