Richland manufacturer receives growth award

SIGN, a Richland nonprofit manufacturer of orthopedic implants, received the Smart Map Expo award as Manufacturer of the Year.

The award goes out annually to Mid-Columbia manufacturers that have demonstrated remarkable growth and improvement in manufacturing processes.

SIGN helps the developing world by providing access to modern orthopedic training and surgical implants and instruments. SIGN has built a network of almost 4,000 surgeons throughout 47 developing countries who have treated more than 70,000 patients.
