2027 Chevy Corvette Pricing Revealed with Major Changes-Grand Sport Starts at $88,495

The C8 Enters Its Final Stretch

The Chevy Corvette C8 shook things up in 2020 by moving the engine behind the driver. That single change transformed how it looked, handled, and stacked up against rivals. Now, after more than six years, the C8 is heading into its final stretch.

For 2027, Chevrolet is updating the entire Corvette lineup, which means new prices across the board. With the Grand Sport and Grand Sport X now official, it's easier to see how each model fits in. The Stingray is still the starting point, but it's more expensive than before.

The base Stingray models have gone up a bit, now starting at $73,495, while the top trims have jumped much higher. The ZR1 and ZR1X, in particular, move further into supercar price territory. Interestingly, the Z06 had a substantial decrease compared to the outgoing model year.

The Grand Sport sits about $15,000 above the Stingray, making it the new sweet spot for buyers who want more performance without going all-in on the top models.

What's New for 2027

The big news is the arrival of the Grand Sport and Grand Sport X. The Grand Sport X steps in as a hybrid, essentially replacing the E-Ray in the lineup. Both come in several trims, giving buyers more options between the Stingray and Z06.

There's a big mechanical change, too. The Stingray gets the Grand Sport's new 6.7-liter LS6 V8, which promises more torque than any previous naturally aspirated V8. That's a serious upgrade, especially this late in the C8's run. We're still waiting on more details for the other 2027 updates.

Most 2027 Corvette orders open April 16. The Grand Sport X comes later in the summer. Chevrolet looks to be rolling out the core models first, then bringing in the hybrid after.

Overall, these changes sharpen the lineup instead of starting from scratch. Prices are up, the middle of the range is stronger, and the C8 is set for a more focused final chapter.
