Tri-Cities is finally getting a Nordstrom Rack. When will it open?

Nordstrom Rack is coming to Kennewick.

The 25,000-square-foot store will be located at the Tri-Cities Center, the popular shopping center that includes Craft Warehouse, Dollar Tree and Burlington.

It’s expected to open this fall off Columbia Center Boulevard and Canal Street at 7411 Canal Street.

The 14-acre shopping area is owned and managed by BPG Investments IX.

The company’s first new retailer is Habit Burger, where David’s Bridal was previously located.

BPG Investments IX and Bellevue-based Startup Development Partners purchased the property for $10.5 million in 2025 and pledged to give it a facelift and bring new tenants to its empty spaces.

“This addition reflects our commitment to thoughtfully curating a dynamic tenant mix that meets the evolving needs of the community,” Clayton Brown, managing member of BPG Investments IX, wrote in a statement.

The Tri-Cities Center is undergoing an $8 million renovation, including the new Nordstrom Rack. A $300,000 building permit is currently pending with the city of Kennewick.

Burlington is giving back 32,000 square feet, which will include the footprint of the Nordstrom Rack. Another unknown retailer will take up the remaining 7,000 square feet.

Architects LPR Architecture and contractor Booth and Sons Construction will be working on the project.
