Openings: A new grocery store, coffee bar and Jersey Mike’s
A new grocery store, fast-food sandwich shop, coffee bar and credit union are celebrating new openings in the Tri-Cities.
Swagg Coffee opens near CBC
Swagg Coffee Bar is opening its newest spot at Flight Path center, near Columbia Basin College and Sunhawk Hall in Pasco.
The new shop is at 2915 N. 20th Ave., Suite A40, in a new mixed-use retail development near the entrance to the Tri-Cities Airport by A-1 Hospitality Group.
Grand opening festivities are Feb. 27 with $2 drinks and four days of specials. The business is holding a soft opening for family and friends as it prepares for its public debut.
The Tri-Cities-based business, owned by Jerick Guilliam, focuses on fresh coffee and food, serving Houdini Coffee Roasters Coffee and menu items from El Fat Cat Grill and TSP Bakeshop.
The former Swigg Coffee Bar changed its name about five months ago to resolve a copyright issue.
Find Swagg Coffee Bars at 1472 Bombing Range Road in West Richland and 4845 Broadmoor Blvd., in Pasco.

Jersey Mike’s debuts today in Richland
Jersey Mike’s Subs opens its fourth Tri-Cities location in north Richland this week.
The restaurant debuts Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 1745 George Washington Way, Suite 103, next to Starbucks Coffee in the Safeway parking lot. Hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
The sub chain has locations at 1659 N. Columbia Center Blvd. in Kennewick, 5326 Road 68 in Pasco and 2729 Queensgate Drive in Richland.
Carniceria La Cabana now in West Richland
Carniceria La Cabana opened its newest Tri-Cities Latin grocery Feb. 5 at 4330 W. Van Giesen St. in West Richland.
The original Carniceria La Cabanas are at 1501 W. court St. and 5426 N. Road 68, both in Pasco.
The business is led by Claudia and Israel Restor.
Idaho credit union opens in Richland
Idaho Central Credit Union opened the second of three Tri-Cities branches this week.
ICCU opened its Richland location at 3180 Duportail St. on Tuesday. It previously opened a branch on Zintel Way in Kennewick and is building a third off Road 68 in Pasco.
The Richland branch is led by manager Lukas Camacho.
The $5 million, 5,000-square-foot branch was constructed by Chervenell Construction and designed by Lombard Conrad Architects.
