New RV and boat dealer taking over popular spot overlooking highway in Pasco

A Montana RV dealer is expanding its Washington presence by taking over the former Northwest Motorsports spot in Pasco.

Bretz RV & Marine, founded in Missoula, Mont., announced plans to open at the former dealership at 816 N. 28th Ave. The spot is highly visible, overlooking Highway 395 north of the blue bridge. The new business opens May 22.

Northwest Motorsports closed the Pasco and other Washington locations in early 2024, citing market conditions for used vehicles. Six months later, a Yakima real estate investor purchased the five-acre property for $3.6 million, property records show.

Bretz RV & Marine said it will sell RV and boats from a broad variety of brands.

Its new locations includes five service bays and a dedicated parts brand.

Bretz expects to employ 30 in Pasco when the business is fully operational.

“Bringing decades of Bretz expertise to Pasco will be an honor,” said Brandon Bretz, president of the family-owned business, in a news release.

Pasco will be the seventh location for the company, which has locations in Liberty Lake, Wash., Nampa, Idaho, Missoula, Mont., Butte, Mont., Boise, Idaho, and Billings, Mont.
