Quitting time for Richland bar with a stylish 1960s vibe, known for its cocktails

A Richland bar inspired by the 1960s chic of Palm Springs will close for good on Wednesday.

Moniker Bar announced plans to close after four years in The Parkway on social media on Tuesday.

Thank you for letting us call you home and for enriching our lives tenfold. We hope that Moniker has been a source of light and love in your life, as much as it has been for us to get to meet each of you. We could have *never* guessed the relationships that Moniker would bring to us and the way that it would bring so much goodness through our doors (and ultimately into our family). We love you and we’re so glad to have done this here and with you. There’s no place like home,” the owners said in a farewell message posted to Facebook.

Erin Stevens, her husband Tyler and his sister Megan opened Moniker Cocktail Bar at 702 The Parkway in late 2020, saying it was inspired by the 1960s Palm Springs palisade.

The menu featured hand-crafted cocktails as well as food items based on pan-Asian, Indian and South American cultures.

Moniker is the most recent in a series of high-profile restaurant closures. Bougie Brunch and Foodies recently closed as well.
