When will Mid-Columbia irrigation deliveries begin?

A majority of Mid-Columbia irrigation district customers can expect to receive waid-Columbia irrigation district customers can expect to receive water beginning April 1.

Here’s turn-on dates for area irrigation districts:

▪  Badger Mountain Irrigation District: Started delivery March 28. All customers should have water by April 8.

▪  Benton Irrigation District: Water will start April 1.

▪  Columbia Irrigation District: Customers will start receiving water the first week of April. If no water is received by April 15, call the district.

▪  East Columbia Basin Irrigation District: First water deliveries for those served by the Potholes East Canal began March 16. Began filling East Low Canal on March 22 and first deliveries from that canal will be March 28.

▪  Franklin County Irrigation District: All customers should have water by April 1.

▪  Kennewick Irrigation District: Testing now with water starting April 1, but it takes about two weeks to reach all customers. If no water received by April 15, call the district.

▪  Kiona Irrigation District: Water starts April 1.

▪  Quincy Columbia Basin Irrigation District: District began filling the west canal March 23. It will prime smaller canals through the first week of April, depending on weather.

▪  Roza Irrigation District: All customers should be receiving water.

▪  South Columbia Basin Irrigation District: Mattawa and Potholes area of Franklin County, including Blocks 2 and 3, began March 23. Irrigation to Block 18 East Low Canal system was March 18. Land owners may check with their watermasters for specific dates.

▪  Sunnyside Valley Irrigation District: All customers should have water by April 1.
