Celebrity Cruises enhances loyalty program with new milestone rewards

Royal Caribbean Group is on a mission to deepen loyal passengers' engagement across its three cruise lines - Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea.

Earlier this year, the company introduced two new programs to support that goal: Points Choice, a program that expands choice in how passengers build their loyalty status across its brands, as well as tri-branded credit cards aimed at helping loyal cruisers maximize cruise rewards.

Both programs are designed to ensure that passengers get more value out of their cruise vacations while offering incentives that encourage them to continue sailing with Royal Caribbean Group cruise lines.

Shortly after launching its new Royal ONE credit cards, the company also enriched Silversea's Venetian Society loyalty program with new tiers and perks.

Now, Celebrity Cruises' Captain's Club is getting new enhancements, too.

Celebrity Cruises' Captain's Club adds new milestone benefits

Beginning June 11, cruise vacationers who have reached the highest tiers in Celebrity Cruises' Captain's Club loyalty program will be rewarded with even more perks as they continue to sail with Celebrity. New milestone benefits will now be awarded at specific point levels between tier thresholds starting at Elite Plus.

Five new Captain's Club milestone levels will offer passengers opportunities to earn more rewards between Elite Plus and Zenith, and beyond. As Elite Plus (750-2,999 Club Points) and Zenith (3,000+ Club Points) members reach different points levels between tiers, they'll unlock exclusive rewards in addition to the existing benefits they enjoy at those levels.

Point-specific perks range from additional minutes of free premium WiFi, specialty dining discounts, and surprise in-room amenities at Elite Plus points levels to complimentary specialty dining meals and a Sky Suite upgrade at the Triple Zenith (9,000 Club Points) milestone.

In addition to earning more points by sailing with Celebrity Cruises to reach these milestones, passengers can transfer points earned by sailing with Royal Caribbean or Silversea through Royal Caribbean's Points Choice program. Points transferred through Points Choice are included in members' overall Club Points balance and count toward reaching milestones and unlocking the new benefits.

Captain's Club milestone benefits begin at 1,500 Club Points

Starting at 1,500 Club Points and continuing through 9,000, the five new Captain's Club milestone levels offer rich perks to elevate sailings.

Elite Plus milestone benefits at 1,500 Club Points:

480 minutes of free premium WiFi during each sailing - twice the minutes Elite Plus members currently receive
20% off specialty dining
One complimentary photo from Celebrity's on-board photographers
A surprise in-room amenity during a member's milestone sailing

Elite Plus milestone benefits at 2,250 Club Points:

720 minutes of free premium WiFi during each sailing
25% off specialty dining
Two complimentary photos from Celebrity's on-board photographers
Complimentary "Extend Your Stay" experiences on disembarkation day when available
A surprise in-room amenity during a member's milestone sailing

Zenith milestone benefits at 3,000 Club Points:

35% off specialty dining
Three complimentary photos from Celebrity's on-board photographers
A surprise in-room amenity during a member's milestone sailing

Double Zenith milestone benefits at 6,000 Club Points:

All benefits offered at the 3,000 points level
One complimentary lunch at a specialty dining venue on embarkation day of each sailing
One specialty dinner on any day of a member's milestone sailing
Champagne delivered during a member's milestone sailing

Triple Zenith milestone benefits at 9,000 Club Points:

All benefits offered at the 3,000 level
An upgrade to a Sky Suite for the complimentary seven-night Bermuda or Caribbean sailing awarded to Zenith members
A specialty lunch on any day of every sailing
One specialty dinner on any day of a member's milestone sailing
Champagne delivered during a member's milestone sailing
