Carnival's adults-only cruises from West Coast no longer invite only
Carnival Cruise Line is taking its wildly popular adults-only sailings to the West Coast this fall, and booking one just got easier.
First introduced as exclusive sailings for casino loyalty program members in summer 2025, Carnival's adults-only SEA cruises -Sailings Exclusively for Adults - are coming to California for the first time. Before Carnival Firenze leaves the West Coast to begin a new East Coast deployment in early 2027, the Italian-themed ship will sail a series of adults-only cruises in October and November 2026 from Long Beach, Calif.
Although the cruise line canceled more than a month of family-friendly cruises to make way for the adults-only sailings, the majority of Carnival cruises remain family focused. The specialty SEA cruises make up a small portion of Carnival's offerings, but have attracted a lot of attention from cruisers for their focus on grown-up fun, casino playing time, and elevated dining.
And now, you don't need a casino offer to book one of these exclusive cruises from the West Coast.

Carnival's adults-only cruises from Long Beach now open to all loyalty program members
After initially launching the new adults-only sailings on Carnival Firenze with targeted invitations to casino loyalty program members, Carnival is now opening the West Coast SEA cruises to all adult members of its VIFP Club loyalty program ages 21 and older who sign up to unlock the limited-time SEA cruise offer.
Carnival Brand Ambassador John Heald shared the news in a post on his popular Facebook page on April 15.
"I had received many requests from people wanting to join the special SEA adults-only cruises from Long Beach on the Carnival Firenze later this year and so I let the ‘Mothership' know that this was something people were excited about," Heald said.
