The Chinese New Year falls on Jan. 31.

Popcorn snacking

Whether you prefer to pop your corn on the stove, in the microwave or in an air popper, it's one of the first munchies that comes to mind on movie night.

Many like their popcorn dressed simply with salt and butter, but it's also delicious dusted with parmesan cheese, chili powder or any one of a variety of herbs and spices.

For ideas, go to The Popcorn Board's website, www.popcorn.org.
