New Richland restaurant specializing in flame-grilled burgers set to open
The Habit Burger Grill is making its Tri-Cities debut this month.
The chain that specializes in flame grilled burgers with fresh meat will be opening July 21.
The Richland burger joint is the company’s second Eastern Washington location. The first opened in Yakima in April. There are eight Habit Burgers in the Seattle area.
Burger options include a beef and portabello burger, teriyaki burger and avocado burger. There also are ahi tuna fillets, veggie burgers and tri tip sandwiches.
Burgers and sandwiches run from $4 to $9.
In addition to typical sides they serve sweet potato fries, tempura green beans and crispy chicken bites.
Hours at the 2831 Duportail St. location will be 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and it has a drive-thru.
Costa Vida
Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill will celebrate its newest restaurant in Pasco with some giveaways.
The restaurant at 6627 Burden Blvd. will open Aug. 16 next to Proof Kitchen & Bar. It’s the fourth Costa Vida to open in the Tri-Cities and the first in Pasco.
Other restaurants are on Gage Boulevard in Richland, on Duportail in the Queensgate area of Richland and just off Highway 395 on 27th Place in Kennewick.
The menu features made-to-order burritos, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, salads and nachos with fresh ingredients.
Jarom Trout, the chief operating officer with Cazier Enterpises that owns all the Costa Vida restaurants in Washington, said that on opening day the store will have a drawing to give away $500 in Costa Vida credit to 10 winners.
A prize wheel with swag and free products also will be available to spin. Trout also said that for the entire opening week there will be additional drawings daily and food specials for the following month.
During the opening of the other Tri-Cities locations, the giveaways were for the first people through the door — prompting overnight campers hoping to land free meals.
However, Trout said that they adapted the giveaways in light of the COVID pandemic.
Cazier Enterprises also owns 25 Subway restaurants throughout in Oregon and Washington.
