Fair food craving? Get your funnel cake fix at this Kennewick restaurant drive-thru

Craving a corn dog or funnel cake?

CG Public House and Catering is again offering it’s Fair Food Drive-up Festival this Saturday.

The first event was so popular the Kennewick restaurant is doing it again, said Shirley Simmons, the restaurant’s owner.

But this time, they are giving out advance passes so you know exactly when to show up to help avoid long lines.

The event is 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Clearwater Avenue restaurant on Aug. 15.

Pick up a car pass at Albertsons in Richland from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, or 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Columbia Park at Bite at the Landing on Friday.

The passes will be for an hour and will have a QR code with the menu so you can give a sense of what they want.

Only 50 cars are being allowed per hour, and people will be asked to stay inside their vehicle while food is brought to them.
