Winemaking industry discussion planned Nov. 4

Environmental specialist Jessica Myer is presenting information about environmental, health and safety in the wine industry Nov. 4 at the Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive.

The presentation at 3 p.m. includes a look at topics such as winery waste management and confined space.

Myer will discuss the waste streams commonly produced in the making of wine and how they are managed.

Kyle Hutchinson also will talk about confined space hazards in the winemaking industry.
