Most people expect to find a package, or maybe a neighborhood cat, waiting on their front porch, but not a tiny baby deer. That's exactly what happened to Kelly Eland of Baltimore, Maryland. Early one morning, around 6:30 a.m., she opened her door to find a tiny fawn curled up on her porch and ended up spending the rest of the day quietly watching over the unexpected visitor.

Kelly knew the best thing she could do was give the little one plenty of space while keeping an eye on the baby deer, so she set up a Ring camera and went about her day, checking in to make sure the fawn stayed safe until the mother returned. Mom stopped by around 2:45 p.m., seemingly checking on her baby before leaving again, confident the little one was secure. Then, just after 6:30 p.m. (nearly 12 hours after Kelly first found the fawn!), the doe showed up to take her baby home. But it's what Kelly found the fawn doing around 5:30 p.m. that has the internet absolutely swooning.

Kelly posted the original video on June 22, and since then, the mama deer has kept bringing the fawn back each day. This is a babysitting job no one would turn down!
