Artists needed for paid project

Pahlisch Commercial invites artists in Southwest Washington to submit proposals for original and reproduced artwork at 12th and Main, a seven-story mixed-use apartment building in downtown Vancouver.

This is a paid project with a $50,000 budget. Multiple artists may be selected and awards may be divided across locations. The deadline to submit a proposal is Aug. 19.

The proposed art should appeal to a broad demographic; feature a biophilic (i.e. natural) element that ties into the building's design; create a calm, welcoming environment for residents and visitors; integrate with the building's architecture and interior palette; and meet commercial durability standards.
