Siberian Cat Communicates Perfectly With Mom Using His Different Meows
Cats may not be able to communicate in human language, but they always find a way to get their message across-and usually pretty loudly. If you've ever been late serving your kitty a meal, you know that fact already!
Every cat has their own dictionary of meows they use to talk to their humans, and Nimbus, the Siberian cat, is no different.

original sound - Nimbus
In this video shared by Nimbus' mom on TikTok, we can hear all of his different meows, and they really do all sound like completely different "words" he's trying to communicate.
He manages to sound confused, disappointed, angry, and sarcastic, all depending on the tone of his kitty voice. This guy has so many opinions, and he's not afraid to share them with the world (or at least his mom).
Judging by the facial expressions he makes while communicating these feelings, it seems like he truly does wear his heart on his sleeve in every possible way (even if it comes with a bit of sass).

Do Cats Really Have Different Meows?
Nimbus isn't the only kitty who has figured out just how powerful his meows can be for sharing his thoughts (and demands) with his mom.
After all, cats do primarily meow in order to communicate with humans, not other cats, so it makes sense that they'd find ways to easily get their messages across to us depending on the inflection of their voices.
As The Spruce Pets points out, there are a few different meows you can expect to hear from your kitty. The typical "meow" that we most commonly hear from cats is their way of asking for something, and as their human, you're going to be the expert at knowing what that something is.
And as you can probably guess, purring and trilling are signs of contentment, but if you hear a hiss or a growl, you can be sure that the opposite is how they're feeling.
The longer you and your cat have known each other, the easier it will be for you to decode their different meows. Just don't ignore them-they will not tolerate that!
