Most people adopt a dog for companionship and that unconditional love canines offer. Every breed has their own special attributes that sets them apart, yet the majority of dogs all have the same loving spirit that brings joy to all they meet.

Surprisingly, Panda the Pit Bull mix landed in a shelter because he was considered to be "too affectionate" and now he's hoping for another chance at happiness.

In the TikTok from @peggyadamsarl, Panda was in his kennel and stared into the camera with his sweet eyes. The post explained why he was brought to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

"Panda landed in the shelter because he was too affectionate," the caption shared, adding details on how the precious pooch shows unconditional love.

"Panda might stare at you lovingly," the story continued. "He might want to lay on your lap and snore while you watch TV. He might want to kiss you goodnight and sleep in your bed."

While most potential pet parents would jump at the chance to have a dog who gives so much love, others may need more space. Still, for those who want a fur baby BFF, Panda would be an ideal choice.

"If you like to form a deep bond with your best friend, cuddle on the couch, and know that a wagging tail will greet you every time you come home, you and Panda will get along just fine," the caption read, noting that the canine cutie loves meeting new people and does well at home alone.

How Is Panda Today?

Thanks to Panda's story being shared, the cuddly canine was adopted and is now enjoying his forever family. A picture shared in the comments on the original post featured Panda already getting cozy in his new home.

Many of Panda's furry friends at the shelter are still available for adoption and ready for their next chapter. For more information on the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, or to make a donation, visit their website.
