Novocure's cancer treatment fails to meet late-stage trial goal
Novocure said its cancer treatment for newly diagnosed brain tumors did not meet the main goal of a late-stage study, sending its shares 13.2% lower in premarket trading on Thursday.
The company said the trial did not show an improvement in overall survival for patients whose treatment started early compared to those starting at the maintenance stage.
