German Shepherd Has a Sincere Message to His Spare Human, and It's Hilarious
All pet parents know that no matter how much your dog loves you, there's usually one that's considered the favorite and another that's considered the spare human. While there's zero shame in being the spare human, it does mean you have to deal with the fact that they'll probably always choose to cuddle with the favorite. Typically, the favorite ends up being the human who cares for them the most and plays with them the majority of the time. Although this isn't always true, it's typically safe to say dogs prefer the human who dotes on them the most.
For this dog dad, the title of spare human is nothing short of reality. Forced to watch as his German shepherd loves and dotes on his mom, this dog dad is definitely the third wheel in this relationship. As if that weren't enough, this German shepherd has one sassy message for his dog dad that we are sure adds to his pain.

The pup, known as Maverick, is clearly attached to his mom at the hip. From cuddling in her arms and staring at her lovingly, there's no denying who his favorite human is. Although we are almost sure he loves his human dad as well, nothing comes close to his mother's love.

Although Maverick is clearly loved by both of his pet parents, there's nothing quite as strong as the love between a dog and their mom, and the spare human will just have to work a little bit harder next time.
