Cockatoo and Black Lab's Sweet Friendship Is Melting Hearts
We've seen plenty of unusual animal friendships over the years, but a Cockatoo and a Labrador Retriever is a new one for us. Meet Sweet Pea, the Cockatoo, and Copper, the Black Labrador Retriever. Their mom, Wendy Albright, recently shared a heartwarming video showing how their friendship has blossomed over the years, and viewers are completely smitten.
According to Wendy, Sweet Pea was a fan from the moment Copper came home as a puppy in 2021. She says the gentle bird fell in love with him at first sight, and their bond has only grown stronger since then. The sweet pair share a level of trust and affection that animal lovers can't stop talking about, proving once again that friendship doesn't have to be limited by species.

This Cockatoo and Black Lab Have the Internet Completely Smitten
Viewers have left more than 2,500 comments about the sweet friendship-people love this duo! But what everybody quickly realized is that Cockatoos live much longer than dogs do. One commenter shared, "At first I was like, this is sweet. Then the math started mathing, and now I'm sad af."
