How many hooks do you have hanging in your home? If you ask creator Jenny, aka @jenny.for.your.thoughts, she'd probably tell you "not enough."

That's because Jenny - who calls herself a "life engineer" and "ADHD girlie" - actually has a whopping 63 hooks hanging throughout her apartment. "I counted. I have 63 hooks in my apartment, and most aren't even on the walls," she said in a recent TikTok video.

All 63 hooks do something to help make her life easier or keep her home more organized, and some of her ideas are truly ingenious. Keep reading to see a few of the most brilliant ways Jenny uses hooks to streamline her life.

Jenny Uses Magnetic Hooks Throughout Her Home

Jenny is a big fan of magnetic hooks, and she noted that more surfaces in your home are magnetic than you realize. In her apartment, she has magnetic hooks:

  • On the side of her washing machine for hanging cleaning products in spray bottles
  • On her front door to hang keys at eye level
  • On a metal blanket ladder so she can hang more clothes from it
  • On the side of her bathroom mirror to hang her hair comb
  • On the fridge to hang scissors

There Are So Many Ways to Use Hooks in the Bathroom

Suction hooks are fantastic in the bathroom. In Jenny's bathroom, she has a suction hooks on the side of the shower to hold back her shower curtain, and another one on the wall (about 2 feet off the floor) to hang a small mesh hamper

She also added a small hook to the lid of her bathroom step-on garbage bin for those times she wants to open it with her hand rather than stepping on it. "This one finally lets me use my trash can without my foot," she said.

She also has a few over-the-door hooks on her bathroom door for hanging towels and robes.

You Can Use Hooks in Your Bedroom to Organize Belts and Jewelry

To make her bracelets and necklaces more visible, Jenny put around a dozen small hooks above the full-length mirror in her bedroom. "I actually started wearing my jewelry after I hung it right where I get dressed," she explained.

She also hung a few metal hooks in her closet to organize her belts, explaining: "Belts stopped being so chaotic once I hung them up in the closet."

Jenny's ideas are brilliant - I personally can't wait to try some of her hook hacks around my apartment! Watch her full video below:
