Stop! Thief! Kingsley really thought he was going to get away with something, but sadly he wasn't sneaky enough. The dog might have overestimated his ability to blend in as he attempted to steal the laundry hamper. He is a St. Bernard after all. And watching the dog try and make a break for it is too funny.

Looks like someone was caught red-handed. The St. Bernard was not subtle when trying to commit his crime - like at all.

Dogs are so funny, especially big dogs. They always think they are a lot smaller than they really are. It's like they don't understand they aren't Chihuahua size. But that's okay. It typically results in moments like this one, which was just too funny.

All it took was one quick lift of his jaw and the dog had scooped the hamper up and was headed out the door. The plan could have been perfect…if the dog's dad wasn't there to catch him in the act.

"Where do you think you're going with that?!" the man said with a laugh. Hilariously, Kingsley didn't pay him any attention. He just breezed past his dad as the man tried, and failed, to get him to drop the object and stay put. They even had a tussle over the hamper, but don't worry, Kingsley really held his own.

"Worlds greatest ever dog thief," the video's caption joked. Next time, I'm sure the St. Bernard will be even stealthier…or he'll try to be anyway.

The comments section couldn't stop laughing.

"It's real life Nanna!" wrote one person, referring to the dog from Peter Pan.

"So the Beethoven movies are accurate!! St Bernard's DO love hi-jinx," another commenter quipped.

"'No one helps me with anything around this house' - the dog probably," joked another person.

"Tricked you in to play tug of war," pointed out another commenter.

Are St. Bernards Well-Behaved?

Kingsley might be a little scamp, but in general St. Bernards are very good dogs. They are kind-hearted and eager-to-please, which makes them easy to train. Of course, they have their moments. But much like Kingsley, they don't make the best thieves.
