Internet Reacts to 'psycho' Activity Victor Wembanyama Organized for Team Ahead of NBA Finals
The internet has been reacting to reports of a group activity that San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama organized for his teammates. The NBA Defensive Player of the Year reportedly orchestrated the evening to "wind down" his team after the conclusion of the Western Conference Finals.
Many users are poking fun at Wembanyama's idea of relaxing.
Saturday night, the Spurs defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-103 in Game 7 of the WCF to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals. Making their first appearance in the championship series since 2014, San Antonio will face the New York Knicks starting Wednesday night. New York, which holds one of the most famous championship droughts in sports history, looks to claim its first title since 1973.

Ahead of the battle between the NBA's best, Victor Wembanyama treated his team to a private screening of the new hit horror movie, Obsession, first reported on X by ESPN NBA writer Michael C. Wright.
The disturbing film follows a young man who makes a wish that his close friend would love him using a novelty toy called a "One Wish Willow." Following the rules of "monkey's paw" stories, the main character's wish comes true, but not how he hoped. Love is granted in the form of psychotic obsession that slowly burns into terrifying horror.
Obsession has been praised for its deeply sinister nature and extreme tension, which have left audiences on the edge of their seats. Social media users have been hilariously questioning why Wembanyama would select this unnerving film, of all things, to wind down his teammates.
Elle on X wrote "Winding down from a high-stakes Game 7 by watching a movie literally called 'Obsession' is severe psycho behavior, I love it."
@pmeredith77 on X says "IDK if that's the movie I would unwind too but to each their own."
