Rocky Pond Estate Winery wins multiple honors at 2026 TEXSOM Awards

Rocky Pond Estate Winery earned multiple honors at the 2026 TEXSOM Awards in March, including a top distinction for one of its wines.

Rocky Pond's 2023 Stratastone Red received a Judges Selection Medal, placing it among the top wines in its category, according to a news release. The wine will advance to Best of Show consideration.

Judges Selection medals are awarded for "exceptional quality verified by multiple blind tastings," the release said.

Rocky Pond also received:

* Platinum - 2024 Tumbled Granite White (Double D Vineyard, Rocky Reach AVA)

* Gold - 2023 Tumbled Granite Red (Rocky Reach AVA)

* Silver - 2023 11 Dams (Rocky Reach AVA)

The TEXSOM Awards judging took place March 22-25. The awards are recognized for "rigorous judging standards and discerning panel of industry professionals."
