If baby animals are a reason to celebrate, Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia, has three parties to throw. The zoo and theme park recently announced the arrival of rare red ruffed lemur triplets, and they're already going viral.

Zoo staff and fans alike are 'down bad' for the adorable baby lemurs and their Taylor Swift-inspired names, but that's not all. Red ruffed lemurs are considered a critically endangered species, so the arrival of these babies is especially poignant for wildlife conservation and the species as a whole.

Red Ruffed Lemur Triplets

Three red ruffed lemurs entered the world on April 25, 2026. Everyone was thrilled to meet the baby animals after an uncomplicated pregnancy and birth, but no one more so than their proud parents, Val and Doug. This is their fourth litter in four years, so there's no question these parents are pros.

As their animal care team shared, "Val is the matriarch and definitely takes charge over her family. Doug is a kind, gentle soul. He watches over his family while they search for their favorite fruits and only eat after they are finished."

They've already met older siblings Swiper, Raven, Beans, and Dennis, but they'll soon join the rest of the lemurs at their habitat near the Giraffe Overlook once they've mastered climbing and coordination. Animal caretakers estimate this will take another 4-5 weeks!

Because red ruffed lemurs are a critically endangered species, the triplets' arrival marks an important milestone. Experts estimate there are between 1,000 and 10,000 individuals left in the wild, as well as 590 in zoos worldwide.

The Trio's Taylor-Inspired Names Are Already Going Viral

When it came to choosing the perfect names for these triplets, there's no question animal caretakers were in their Swiftie Era. Since Blank Space: the Unofficial Taylor Swift Tribute also performed at Wild Adventures the same day the babies were born, Taylor-inspired names only made sense.

It might be a while until they make their stage debut, but they'll be living The Life of a Showgirl in no time at all. It won't be a Cruel Summer as long as these little ones are around!
