Tiny Ted is getting some outside time today He's just so small that we can't leave him unsupervised, so we set up a large crate for him to play in. He enjoys his outside time, but he also loves being inside with the gang, Gertie and Zeus! #cuteanimals#pigsoftiktok#MiniPig#PigTok#petsoftiktok

Tiny Ted's too cute to handle! His mom shared in the caption, "Tiny Ted is getting some outside time today! He's just so small that we can't leave him unsupervised, so we set up a large crate for him to play in. He enjoys his outside time, but he also loves being inside with the gang, Gertie and Zeus!"

His mom also explained in one of the comments he was the runt of the litter, which is why he's so small. Viewers left hundreds of comments about how cute he is, like @Winter Born, who pointed out, "The little snorts are precious!!!" @Allison added, "His little lip smacks are everything!"

Why Pigs Actually Love Belly Rubs and Human Affection

Have you ever pet a pig before? Sometimes they're perfectly happy just getting their backs scratched, but if you're lucky, they may flop over like Tiny Ted and offer up their belly, and if they do, it's a huge sign of trust.

In the wild, a pig's belly is one of its most vulnerable areas. So when a pig rolls over for belly rubs, it's showing the ultimate sign of comfort, safety, and affection, much like a dog exposing its belly to someone it loves.

Popcorn Park Animal Refuge agrees, explaining, "When pigs roll over and expose their bellies, it's also a big sign of trust, showing they feel safe, relaxed, and loved." Belly rubs also release endorphins that help pigs relax and relieve stress.

After watching Tiny Ted completely melt into those belly rubs, it's pretty clear the little guy feels very loved indeed, and whether he knows it or not, the little piglet also managed to make the entire internet's day a whole lot brighter.
