Dogs are lovable and affectionate creatures-until you mess with something that is theirs, of course. While they love their humans, dogs have a few things they just aren't willing to share. They mostly boil down to two things: treats or toys.

For Pancake, an English bulldog, it's definitely her toys. While she might be cuddly and adorable, there's nothing that she hates more than when her dad takes away her toy, especially in the middle of a chewing session.

The scary interaction was uploaded to social media and details the frightening and brave actions of Pancake's dad, who dared to try to take her toy right from under her. A scary ordeal indeed.

In a recent clip shared by Pancake's dad, the courageous dog dad decided to embark on a dangerous mission: taking away one of Pancake's toys while she was chewing on it. Captioned by dad as "how to approach a wild beast mid-meal," the entire ordeal was very similar to that of a scary wildlife documentary.

The dad continues to recommend other brave humans who may attempt similar actions: "No sudden movement. It can smell fear. This is how people lose fingers." After taking the ball away, this dog dad continued, "The beast will fight back. Don't panic. The beast will want it returned." Finishing off the clip, the dad declares, "What a magnificent apex predator." A true thrilling saga if you ask us.

In the comments, users were left shocked and amused by this dad's brave actions.

"There's a fine line between courage and madness, and you are tapdancing on it!" said one viewer.

Another commenter added, "Are you nuts?! It's too dangerous."

"The most terrifying apex predator in existence!!!" said another person.

One user summarized the entire clip with, "Her eyes and breathing got more intense before she struck. A true lady of the wild."

While it's true that one does not want to mess with the ferocious apex predator that is Pancake, we have to wonder if maybe she isn't as scary as Dad makes her seem. Just like most English bulldogs, Pancake seems like she is a cuddly, hilarious, gentle giant. In the end, it seems the only thing ferocious about Pancake is her capacity for cuddles.
